Deploying RSS in the newsroom

Derek Willis of thescoop.org did a presentation yesterday titled "XML for Journalists" at the Investigative Reporters and Editors national conference in DC, showing the audience all about RSS syndication and how it can help them stay on top of their beats and preserve the knowledge they gain while reporting. Afteward, says Derek, several came up to him and asked how they could deploy it in their newsrooms.
