| Genowefa discovered the family tree on the Web in 2004 and emailed Joseph Lasica. Genowefa's Americanized name would be Eugenia or Jeannie. She is a widow. Her husband, Czeslaw Bloch, died in a swimming accident (we believe) in 1988 in his 30s. Genowefa has two sons, Michael and Roman. They live in Kwidzyn in northern Poland.
